In the following article posted on Pajamas Media by David Jenkins, we learn that perhaps conservatives are 'liberals' in the true sense of the actual word, and that today's liberals are really 'statists'. A statist is one who believes the state should run things. Conservatives are those who hold to the principles of the founders of this country. Perhaps it is time to start point this out. I know many people who claim to be liberals, but they feel, think and act like conservatives in their own personal lives. Sometimes I wonder if people are just blindly following the ideology because it sounds good, but haven't taken the time to consider the consequences of this ideology if it is permitted to become reality.
